"With decades of public service and leadership experience, I am honored to run for King County Council, serving District 7. As a 30 year resident of Kent, I’ve actively contributed to our schools and community, embracing its diversity and opportunities.
As an accountant and non-profit leader, I champion fiscal responsibility, ensuring taxpayer dollars strengthen essential programs. My years of experience in housing organizations drove solutions to improve affordability and reduce homelessness — because safe, stable housing is a right, not a privilege.
During my eight years as an elected school board Director, President, and Legislative Representative, I fought for funding, better educational outcomes, and legislative support. Now, as a state agency consultant, I train elected officials in finance and legal responsibilities, gaining firsthand government insight.
As your Councilmember, I will ensure financial accountability, drive economic growth, expand housing access, and strengthen education and safety.
